Further, it is not always clear whether 'the latter days' means a somewhat later period than that of the writer or the latest times of all, the end of the world. There are problems with the terminology of 'the latter days' in that, for example, the King James Version quite often refers to 'the latter days, ' an expression not found in modern translations.
